Entries remain subject to an open editorial revision process, allowing practitioners and researchers to submit corrections for review before inclusion.
The Academy has developed a four-path search protocol tailored to the Australian regulatory environment, covering genus-level prohibitions, species-level thresholds, common-name and official pinyin cross-referencing, and active-constituent scheduling — addressing both practitioner dispensing and product/import perspectives. Entries are annotated with verification status after review by named assessors.
